How to Use This Tool
Set Warehouse Dimensions
Define the length and width of your facility in meters. This creates the floor boundary for your layout.
Select Element Type
Choose from the element library: pallet racks, selective racking, cantilever, loading docks, offices, or staging zones.
Click to Place
Click anywhere on the 2D grid to place elements. Drag to move, use handles to resize, or double-click to edit properties.
Toggle to 3D View
Switch to 3D mode to visualize your layout with accurate rack heights, dock doors, and zone colors.
Export Your Layout
Save your project to local storage or export as PNG/PDF for sharing with stakeholders.
Element Library
Pallet Racking
Standard selective pallet racks with configurable height (3-12 meters), bay width, and number of levels.
Cantilever Racks
For long/bulky items like lumber, pipes, or furniture. Arms extend from a central column.
Loading Docks
Dock doors with standard dimensions. Place along perimeter walls for truck access.
Offices & Staging Zones
Enclosed office spaces and open staging/receiving areas with color-coded zones.
Key Metrics
Total Floor Area
Square meters of your warehouse floor. Used for cost-per-sqft calculations and lease planning.
Rack Count
Total number of rack bays placed. Multiply by levels and positions for pallet capacity.
Aisle Space
Floor area dedicated to aisles. NFPA requires 4ft minimum for pedestrian, 12ft for forklifts.
Void Space (3D)
Unused vertical volume above racks. The Void Scanner visualizes this optimization opportunity.
